In accordance with the Statutes of The Eurasian Association on Inverse Problems (EAIP), members of the Steering Committee are elected at the general assembly of the association for a period of 2 years, during the biennial conference Inverse Problems: Modeling and Simulation. The Steering Committee elects two co-chairs with equal rights.

The Steering Committee determines the strategies of the association, coordinates all its work and cooperates with the relevant committees of the association. These include also the organization of the Biennial Conference Inverse Problems: Modeling and Simulation and the EAIP awards policy.
